Our Network Groups & Meetings
The Jewish Business Network (JBN) offers a growing number of network groups across the UK, each providing a welcoming space for Jewish business owners and professionals to connect, collaborate, and support one another.
Consistent Structure, Familiar Format
Each JBN group operates with the same meeting format to ensure consistency and familiarity. This means that whether you attend a group in your local area or one across the country, you’ll experience the same welcoming atmosphere, focus on support, and chance to connect meaningfully with others in the Jewish business community.
Open to All – No Industry Lock-Out
Unlike many networking groups, JBN has no industry lock-out policy. This means we don’t restrict attendance based on your profession or industry, so multiple people from the same sector can be part of the same group. We believe this approach better serves our community, as it allows members to learn from a range of perspectives and opens up opportunities for collaboration. At JBN, we’re committed to building each other up, and having a variety of professionals in the same industry often leads to meaningful partnerships rather than competition.
What to Expect at a JBN Meeting
Our meetings are designed to foster connection and collaboration. The structure of each meeting is:
-
We get off to a relaxed start where you’ll pick up your name badge, grab a coffee and a piece of cake, and have a chat with other group members and visitors.
-
Sitting around one table, each person has a minute to introduce themselves and speak about their business. Some people find this part daunting but it’s very relaxed and pressure-free, with no rights or wrongs. Click here to download some Networking top tips.
-
An external speaker or group member will deliver a short presentation: members can absolutely use this opportunity to promote their business but we do ask them to make sure they’re also delivering value or insights that will be useful to everyone, rather than making you sit through an extended sales spiel!
-
The Chesed round follows this. It’s the Hebrew word for kindness, and we go around the table either offering an act of kindness to someone else at the meeting, or thanking someone else for their kindness. It doesn’t have to be huge – simply offering to introduce them to one of your contacts, or sharing their event on your social media channels are perfect examples.
-
We finish with – relax, refill your coffee cup, check out any products people have brought to showcase, and chat until it’s time to leave.
